The challenge
RVHomeHaven spans practical RV essentials and an adventure marketplace — two very different shoppers with one storefront. Products sat in collections that reflected internal categories rather than customer intent, product pages carried thin metadata, and image alt text was missing across the catalog. The store was findable by people who already knew it, but nearly invisible to searchers looking for what it sells.
The strategy
Reorganize the store around the two shopper journeys — everyday RV life and adventure lifestyle — and make every product page carry its own search weight. Metadata, alt text and structured product feeds were treated as one connected visibility system spanning Google and Bing.
What was implemented
- Restructured collections around customer intent, not internal labels
- Rewrote product titles, descriptions and meta tags across key listings
- Added descriptive image alt text throughout the catalog
- Improved product visibility in Google and Bing shopping surfaces
- Clarified store structure, navigation and collection hierarchy
- Cleaned up tracking and order-related configuration
The outcome
The storefront now presents a clear path for both the practical shopper and the gift buyer. Products are indexed with meaningful metadata, images carry real descriptive context, and the store structure supports ongoing SEO work instead of fighting it.
Outcomes are described qualitatively by design — no invented metrics. Where a store is live, judge it yourself by visiting.
